Quadgrow and Octogrow offer the next level of performance for growers used to hand-watering pots. Plants are automatically fed and watered without pumps, timers or electricity and without sitting the roots in water.

Quadgrow and Octogrow are gravity-fed, passive hydroponic systems. Plants are grown in pots filled with an absorbent medium - soil or coco - that sit above a water tray filled with nutrient solution. The water tray is connected to an additional reservoir by a water regulator.

SmartMat Strips deliver nutrient solution from the water tray to the coco or soil in the pots. The water regulator draws nutrient solution from the reservoir into the water tray as it runs low.

Pots are separated from the water tray by a feeder tray. As the plants use up the water and nutrient in the soil or coco, it is replaced with nutrient solution absorbed through the SmartMat strips. Plants remain fed and watered without the soil or coco becoming water-logged.

They are never sat in water.

Why the Quadgrow and Octogrow produce great results

Constant availability of water and nutrients is more effective than hand-watering.

No-water-logging or oxygen starvation means a healthier root zone and improved growth and yields.

The benefits of the Quadgrow and Octogrow

Constant availability of water and nutrients is more effective than hand-watering.

No-water-logging or oxygen starvation means a healthier root zone and improved growth and yields.

Space efficient – low height offers plenty of headroom under lights.

Easily expandable – connect to a large header tank and manage multiple systems.

Large pots - 11 litre pots provide plenty of support and space for all those healthy roots, so plants can grow BIG.

Very low maintenance – keep the reservoir topped up and the system waters itself.

System Product Size  (L x W X H) Tank Volume   No. of Plants Recommended Tent Size
QO100 Quadgrow 4 Pot 58cm x 54cm x 36cm  20 Litres 4 80cm x 80cm or 1m x 1m
QO300 Octogrow 8 Pot 108.5cm x 54cm x 36cm 30 Litres 8

1.2m x 1.2m

Auto top-up volume is 20 Litres

Golden Rule – Use an absorbent medium. Passive hydroponics relies on the capillary action of the growing medium surrounding the roots. Nutriculture recommends using soil or coco in the Quad and Octogrow.

If growing under very powerful lights, lightly water the top layer of soil or coco in each pot once or twice a week.

For significantly reduced maintenance, multiple systems can be run from one large header tank.

To increase success rates amongst first time growers, offer them a heavily fertilised soil with the system and advise that they just feed water during the growth stage and add bloom booster at the flowering stage.
